By clustering a customer with others who like the same things (those with similar Measured Product Affinities), we can find Predicted Product Affinities for items that customer has not yet purchased.

Value Threshold

Many variables influence your customer’s Value Threshold (how price sensitive they are and what will be required to drive the desired action). We find the minimum amount necessary to change someone’s shopping behavior by using a combination of factors, including:
Purchase History
This includes specific transaction history, average basket size and spend, Product Affinities, shopping frequency, and more.
Customer Lifetime Value
Customers with a high LTV are less motivated by discounts, while those with a low LTV may need larger incentives to shop or spend more.
Promoted Item(s) Sales
If a customer’s purchase trends are inclining or declining, this influences the type of coupons they receive and how rich they should be.
Previous Response to Offers
By looking at response to past promotions, we can determine what works best to make each future promotion more effective.
